If you aren’t familiar with Aglio e Olio , then you are about to know what heaven tastes like. It means garlic and oil and even though it truly is as simple as that it will transform your taste buds. You may not think that this sauce is anything to die over when you just hear it, but trust me, it is addicting and comforting. The garlic fries just perfectly in the oil and the red pepper perfectly adds some spice to that warm buttery oil.
AGLIO E OLIO SAUCE
Serving Size: 1/2 a Tablespoon | Servings: 8 | Calories per Servings: 62
Don’t get scared by the serving size. Half a tablespoon of this will totally coat & flavor a ton of noodles deliciously!
❈ 1/4th a Cup of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO)
❈ 3 Garlic Cloves
❈ 1 Tablespoon Red Pepper Flakes
❈ 1 Tablespoon Parsley
❈ Heat the EVOO in a skillet on medium heat.
❈ While that is heating up, chop the garlic. you don’t need to mince it, but a chop will be perfect.
❈ When you think the oil is nicely heated, drop a piece of garlic into the oil. If you hear a sizzle or pop, then it’s hot enough. If you don’t, then wait for the oil to heat up more.
❈ Add all the garlic, red pepper, and Parsley.
❈ Cook for 3 minutes and then you’re done it’s so easy, but I promise you, it’s addicting!
