With that start of 2017, I know many of us are reorganizing our lives and trying to make our health a priority. I wanted to bring an easy, nutritious, and quick recipe to you, so you can start the year off right! Tilapia is my favorite fish when it comes to cooked seafood and it pairs well with almost any flavor or side dish! I hope you find this easy and enjoyable recipe a great addition to your new you!
LEMON BUTTER TILAPIA
Serving Size: 1 Filet | Calories per Serving: 125
🍋 4 Tilapia Filets (I actually love Aldi’s frozen section Tilapia. They are delicious. Just thaw them out before hand.)
🍋 1 Tablespoon Butter (I use Kerrygold Unsalted)
🍋 Lemon Juice from 1 Lemon
🍋 Garlic, Lemon Pepper, and Red Pepper
🍋 Thaw out the filet, if they are frozen.
🍋 Preheat the oven to 350 and line a deep dish pan with foil.
🍋 Lay the filet down on the sheet. Sprinkle on the garlic, lemon pepper and red pepper.
🍋 Flip the filet and sprinkle the other side with the same spices and herbs.
🍋 Pour the lemon juice over the filet.
🍋 Split the butter into four and lay each piece of butter on top of each filet.
🍋 Cook for 10-12 minutes.
🍋 Serve! (You can certainly store them in the fridge for a few days and heat them up in the microwave as well, if you like to meal prep!)
